In his latest show ‘Psychopath with Piers Morgan’, Piers goes behind bars with a diagnosed psychopath (Paris Bennet) a man classified as a genius with an IQ level of 141. At age 13 he stabbed his four-year-old sister to death freely admitting that he committed the murder just to spite his mother Charity.
Paris tells Piers: “One of the reasons why I chose to kill my sister and not someone else is because I knew that by doing that I could hurt my mother in the worst possible way, because I had always known, as a child, that the most devastating thing to my mother would be the loss of one of her children, and I found a way to take away both her children in one fell swoop.”
Piers said “The FBI profilers we brought in to advise us said: ‘He’ll have done his research on you very thoroughly, he will try and play you, he will be manipulating you’, and I really felt that. “I felt like I was in psychological combat with this guy.”
Charity has since spoken out and said she forgives her son for killing her daughter – revealing that she still loves him and visits him once a month in prison. She said: “I’m afraid of Paris still, but it’s possible to love him and forgive him and still be afraid of him.”
Watch it: Thursday 27th June, 9pm on ITV.
