The first UK broadcast series to focus exclusively on bisexual dating has arrived on E! The Bi Life is a ten-part reality dating series from NBCUniversal International Studios’ Monkey Kingdom, and the ENVY team were very excited to have carried out full post services on the show.

The series will see a group of bisexual+ (bi, pansexual, fluid etc.) British singletons sent on an adventure to find love in the LGBTQ+ capital of Europe, Barcelona. Presented by entertainer, advocate and Celebrity Big Brother 2018 winner, Shane Jenek (a.k.a. Courtney Act) , the series will follow the group of singletons as they live together, party together and help each other navigate the rocky road of bisexual+ dating as they observe and feedback on each other’s experiences. For some, this will mean exploring who they are for the very first time.

ENVY Online Editor, Paul Goodman said, “Courtney sets up the singletons on dates – which are a variety of blind dates, chosen dates and group dates – and then throws parties for them afterwards where the dates are invited, so the show promises some entertainingly awkward moments as well as some heart-warming storylines.”

Throughout the experience, the cast will provide each other with support and encouragement as they share their stories, from new friendships and go looking for love. The series will chart their highs and lows as they embark on a life of dating and romance in Barcelona.

Paul said, “We wanted the pre-title sequence – which introduces the viewers to Shane and Courtney, the participants and the show’s concept – to be vibrant and stylised, so we used dynamic DVEs and an anamorphic format. The series is really entertaining and it was good fun to work on.”

Watch it: Thursday 25th October at 9pm on E!

Online Editor: Paul Goodman
Dubbing Mixer: Chris Braithwaite
Post Producers: Rosie Hargreaves, Sophie Bagha and Charlotte Way
