ICONS is a new seven-part series on starting 8th of January on BBC Two. The show asks viewers to assess the achievements of the 20th century’s most important and influential men and women who helped shape our world today. Each episode will be dedicated to seven different categories of human excellence and will feature four extraordinary individuals. At the end of each show viewers will be given the opportunity to vote for their favourite in which the greatest from each category will be selected. The category winners will go head to head in a live final on the 5th of February to decide the greatest icon of the 20th century.

ENVY Dubbing Mixer Matt Skilton Said: “Icons was a seriously interesting project to work on, the mix between factual entertainment and audience interaction via a public vote at the end of each show was a new and refreshing aspect.

ICONS covers several periods across 20th Century and as a result a significant amount of archive was used. When you consider the show covers an entire century you appreciate how old some of the footage truly is and as a result, you’re likely to run into some mute or unusable audio.  We rebuilt the archive and used layered track and sound effects to achieve a high-quality finish. It was great fun to work on and you could really feel the great team effort that had gone in to making the show.”

The ENVY team were thrilled to have provided full post for the series produced by production company 72 Films.
