The Comedy.co.uk Awards is an annual poll where the British public vote for the best TV and radio comedy programmes of the last year. With a nomination list of over 400 shows from 2018, who will be crowned as this year’s winners?

Sara Pascoe vs Monogamy

The award-winning comedian, writer and actor takes on history, heartache and her mother. The comedy short, produced by Stolen Picture and directed by the Blaine Brothers begins with the bold statement that Sara ‘doesn’t think human beings are meant to be monogamous’ and descends into bad best man speeches, bad sex Victorians and sperm wars. Sara delves into why ‘screwing around’ isn’t a male prerogative and why jazz makes her skin crawl.

Stath Lets Flats

The show follows an incompetent lettings agent working for his father’s dodgy London agency, ‘Michael & Eagle Lets’. Stath has big ambitions to take over the family business one day – but is he up to the job?

ENVY’s Head of Grading, Vicki Matich, said: “The audience needs to relate to our main characters and there’s a certain warmth you feel for them which I think comes through in how it was shot and graded. Working very collaboratively with DP Will Hanke, we subtly enhanced different environments. For example, the Michael & Eagle Lettings office has a slight strip-lighting push in it and a touch of green, compared with their neighbour and rival realtors next door, whose office has a much cleaner pallet to reflect their slick, chain shop-like efficiency.”

The ENVY team were thrilled to have provided full post for both shows.
